Specialising in South Indian Cuisine and based in Tooting Broadway, owner Vijaya Krishna was keen to be involved in the Tooting Street Food Challenge.
“First of all, we would like to thank Santino from “Life Long Learning” for giving us this opportunity to work with aspiring young people. Students had the opportunity to get an insight into the importance of topics such as restaurant interior, menu design, food presentation, ingredients, customer service etc. We hope we were able to make a difference in their learning experience and they were able to take away ideas that not only helped during this food competition but also broaden their horizons for their future.
Also a big thanks to skills and progression officer Rasna Khanom for helping us to arrange & structure the activities for the students within the given time frame.”
